Going to REI today - you got me thinking - my matches are about the oldest thing in my pack. Wouldn't hurt to replace them....

Looks like the marine survival matches that used to be available at Sportsmansguidedotcom.
Besides strikeanywheres stashed aroundmy pack I also carry a Triox tabs or two. A small piece will start wet wood.

Aren't these matches supposed to burn underwater as well? That could be really useful if you fall out of a canoe.
